Mr. Tamer El Mahdi is a seasoned CEO and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience leading holding companies and investment firms across various sectors globally. With expertise in transforming large organizations, developing commercial strategies  and managing mega projects  he has a proven track record in industries such as telecoms financial services digital technology. Mr. El Mahdi has successfully revitalized underperforming organizations by enhancing operational efficiency and implementing strategic financial and management reforms.His career began at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory followed by senior leadership roles at AT&T and Lucent Technologies. During his 20-year tenure at Orascom Telecom  Mr. El Mahdi held several key leadership roles including Group CTIO where he oversaw 15 mobile operators across Europe Canada Africa and Asia. He also served as CEO of Djezzy Algeria’s largest mobile operator before advancing to the role of Group CEO of Orascom Telecommunications Media & Technology. In 2020 he founded Trade Globe FZE delivering a range of technology services to operators, including advisory managed services network design cloud care solutions, and fintech solutions. Mr. El Mahdi holds an MSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from California State University a Master’s in Project Management from George Washington University an MBA from Maastricht School of Business and an BSc in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Cairo University.
